Lakewood Project

Welcome.

We are grateful that you have found your way here to our site.

Plastic pollution is a big deal, and we have firsthand experience with it.
During the Summer 2021 and 2022, we had access to a 600 ft section of beach shoreline on Lake Erie. During every summer month we would collect all the plastic debris that had washed up onto this beach. End of the summer, we sorted and categorize the 6 (5gal) pails of debris and logged this info. We were amazed at our findings!

We are working a documentary/video to present our findings. Coming Soon!

This was a real eye opener for us! After talking to several family and friends about Plastic Pollution concerns, we realized that most people don’t seem to know many of the basic and simple things we could do – right now.
It was at that time, we committed to help spread Single-use/Plastic pollution awareness and provide an outlet where you can make smart, earth-friendly, reasonably priced products so we can start to help turn this plastic destruction around with – just a small change.

We have continued to monitor this section of Lake Erie again this Summer so, we can start to document this reallife example of the impact of Plastic Pollution consuming us in our waters, air and land.    We will continue provide updates on our findings as time goes on.   We hope to learn and better together the current status.

Thank you for your time and interest.
